Four key criteria for choosing the right label
Choosing a label is not only about size and colour. The right solution emerges when the surface, usage conditions, application method and quantity are evaluated together.
Surface and packaging
Glass, PET, PP, HDPE, cardboard, metal or fabric… The structure and roughness of the surface directly determine the adhesive choice.
Usage conditions
Temperature, humidity, the cold chain, contact with oil or chemicals and outdoor exposure all determine the durability of the material.
Application method
Will the label be applied by hand or by an automatic labelling machine? The winding direction and core diameter are planned accordingly.
Size, quantity and printing
Label size, the number of labels per roll, the printing approach and variable-data requirements all affect cost and delivery planning.
